Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team at Artex. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. How You'll Make An Impact

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

About You Required: Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration) and 5 years of related experience required. Requires broad knowledge of accounting practices/principles and preparation of strategic recommendations to management. Proficiency in Excel.

Preferred: CPA, MBA or other financial certification.

  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within the insurance or risk management industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
