Position Overview The packer/scanner position is responsible for packing the jacket into the polybag with correct hangtag and sticker and scanning it into D365 system. Since packing & scanning is the final step in the production process the packer and scanner need to be vigilant and highlight if there’s any abnormality in the jackets. They should know the different types of hangtags and put the correct stickers during the packing and pack the jackets in eye pleasing way. Handling D365 login and scanning the jackets correctly into the system need a certain level of computer knowledge and understanding.

What You'll Do

  • Familiarity with different types of hangtags which goes with different types of jackets.
  • Arrange the hangtags and poly bag stickers by line and by the MPO.
  • Cross check and verify the information in the CCC label, RFID sticker and poly bag sticker matches and are correct.
  • Put the correct hangtag properly and pack the jacket into polybag and put the polybag sticker in the correct place.
  • Log into the D365 account and go to the CGI Purchase order fulfillment page and scan the MPO bar code and then the size bar code.
  • Once the bundle is scanned put it to the relevant gaylord box of the MPO.
  • Prioritize the MPOs based on the delivery schedule or as directed by the Snr. Sup or PM.
  • Tidy up work area before, after, and in between.
  • Clean the jackets and examine the jackets when required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Basic computer literacy
  • Basic mathematics skills (to keep a track of the MPO qty).
  • Computer knowledge and skills to log into D365 and scan the jackets properly.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Responsible & reliable.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work on a quick pace with accuracy
