TEAM Group is currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Vac Truck Driver (manual transmission) with a valid AZ or DZ license to join our Mount Albert, ON team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, outdoor environment and takes pride in operating specialized equipment. 

A valid AZ or DZ License with a clean driver’s abstract is required

Schedule

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some on-call, overtime, evenings, weekends, and overtime is a requirement

Pay Rate

  • $30/hr 

Responsibilities

  • Operation of a manual-transmission vacuum truck to perform industrial cleaning and environmental services 
  • Safely drive to and from job sites across Ontario
  • Run vacuum truck operations, removing debris build-up, and providing industrial cleaning flush-out services
  • Maneuver trucks and ensure equipment is properly positioned
  • Report vehicle defects, traffic violations, accidents or damage to vehicle, and safety concerns
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times
  • Complete all required documentation (logbooks, work orders, inspection reports)
  • Act as a liaison between the client and management providing feedback on various issues as they arise
  • Train new and existing staff
  • Work closely with crew members and supervisors on job sites
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of assigned vehicle
  • Communicate effectively verbally and written form to all clients, coworkers, managers, and the general public
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with manual transmission, with clean driver’s abstract
  • Minimum [1–2] years of experience operating vacuum trucks or similar heavy equipment (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some overtime, evenings, and weekends
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor and industrial environments
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Reliable transportation to our Mount Albert location
