Job Details

Principales Fonctions et Responsabilites:

  • Participer aux séances de planification stratégique et tactique;

  • Planifier et diriger les réunions de l’équipe de gestion, et guider les gestionnaires pour s’assurer que les objectifs de la division sont atteints;

  • Préparer, maintenir et faire des rapports sur les plans opérationnels de la division, incluant les aspects stratégique, tactique, budgétaire, utilisation et rentabilité des opérations de la division, et planifier et mettre en œuvre les plans d’optimisation des processus;

  • Aider à gérer le budget pour y inclure la responsabilité des profits et pertes, incluant l’approbation et le suivi des achats, des contrats, des dépenses, et peut gérer les relations avec les fournisseurs;

  • Préparer/réviser et soumettre des rapports mensuels de facturation pour la facturation de la clientèle;

  • Gestion stratégique de projet et gestion des comptes clients;

  • Participation et soutien au siège social sur différents projets;

  • En collaboration avec l’équipe de la haute direction, fournir une orientation stratégique à tous les gestionnaires et les membres d’équipe, pour améliorer davantage les programmes existants et assumer la responsabilité de la réalisation de nouveaux objectifs d’affaires établis, en prêtant une attention particulière à la croissance;

  • Au besoin, faire des présentations à l’équipe de direction lors des évaluations stratégiques;

  • Contribuer à l’élaboration, présenter (pour approbation), mettre en œuvre et faire le suivi des performances pour les plans annuels stratégiques et tactiques liés à toutes les recettes et dépenses associées aux opérations des Services spécialisés;

  • Assumer le rôle principal dans l’établissement/l’attribution des tâches de mise en œuvre appropriée de la gestion de comptes;

  • Participer à l’amélioration de l’ensemble des affaires: prévisions, développement de nouvelles affaires, communication interne et externe (gestion des comptes clés), efficacité, dotation en personnel et services aux clients;

  • Contribuer à l’établissement d’objectifs de croissance de la division, attirer de nouvelles affaires, et créer des initiatives d’expansion innovantes et/ou de nouveaux services;

  • Élaborer des normes de rendement pour les gestionnaires d’unités fonctionnelles et mesurer le succès par rapport aux normes de rendement;

  • Participer à la rédaction de propositions, aux contrats, aux présentations aux clients et à la tarification;

  • Demeurer au courant des tendances de l’industrie et de la législation en cours importantes ayant une incidence sur nos activités;

  • Identifier et collaborer avec des ressources et des experts internes et externes;

  • Élaborer des plans pour la structuration et la dotation en personnel de la division et évaluer et réviser les plans en fonction des changements au niveau de la demande;

  • Assurer une gestion continue, faire des évaluations annuelles de la performance, établir des objectifs et des plans de formation pour tous les subordonnés directs;

  • Exercer un leadership auprès de l’équipe de gestionnaires de programmes et participer au soutien du développement des équipes de produits, tel que requis;

  • Responsabilité globale vis-à-vis de la disponibilité en temps voulu, l’exactitude et l’intégralité de tous les services; et

  • Cerner les secteurs de risque et favoriser l’amélioration proactive et continue de la qualité.

  • Responsable de signaler tous les événements indésirables aux départements concernés.

  • D’autres fonctions et tâches peuvent être confiées au gestionnaire de programme principal de temps à autre, selon les besoins.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning sessions;
  • Plan and lead management team meetings and guide Managers to ensure that unit objectives are achieved;
  • Prepare, maintain and report on unit operational plans including: strategic, tactical, budgetary, utilization and profitability of unit operations, and plan and implement processes optimization plans;
  • Assist with managing budget to include profit and loss responsibility, including approval and monitoring of purchasing, contracting, expenses, and may manage vendor relationships;
  • Prepare/review and submit monthly billing reports for client invoicing;
  • Project strategic management and client account management;
  • Participation and support to the Corporate office on various projects;
  • In conjunction with senior leadership provide strategic direction to all managers and team members, to further enhance existing programs and have responsibility for attaining established new business objectives, with particular attention on growth;
  • Present to the executive Lead Team as required and requested during Plan-to-Performance (P2P) meetings;
  • Assist with developing, present (for approval), implement and tracking performance for strategic and tactical annual plans related to all revenue and expenses associated with Specialty Services operations;
  • Undertake the primary role in establishing/assigning appropriate account management implementation;
  • Participate in the enhancement of the overall business: Forecasting, New Business development, Internal and External communication (Key account Management), efficiencies, staffing and client services;
  • Assist with establishing goals for business unit growth, attract new business, and create innovative business expansion and/or new services;
  • Develop performance standards for business unit Managers and measure success against performance standards;
  • Assist with proposal writing, contracting, client presentations, and pricing;
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and important pending legislation impacting our business;
  • Identify and collaborate with internal and external resources and experts;
  • Develop plans for structuring and staffing of unit and review and revise plans based on changes in demand;
  • Provide on-going management, annual performance reviews, objective setting and training plans for all direct reports;
  • Provide leadership to Program Manager Team and participate in supporting development of product teams, as required;
  • Overall responsibility for timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of all services; and
  • Identify areas for risk and foster proactive, continued quality improvement.
  • Responsible to report all Adverse Events to the assigned units/departments
  • The Senior Manager, Programs will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time.

Experience et Niveau d'Education Requis:

  • Diplôme universitaire en sciences/soins de santé, ou combinaison équivalente d’expérience et études;

  • Au moins 5 ans d’expérience de l’industrie pharmaceutique ou biotechnologique;

  • Au moins 2 ans d’expérience en gestion;

  • Minimum de 1 à 2 ans d’expérience en gestion de la clientèle;

  • Connaissance et expérience du développement et de la mise en œuvre d’études post-commercialisation, de Santé Canada et/ou de programmes de gestion des risques;

  • Connaissance générale des programmes de remboursement et d’aide aux patients, des politiques et processus opérationnels, et de la recherche clinique;

  • Bilingue (français/anglais) constitue atout.

  • Connaissances poussées de l’industrie de la distribution pharmaceutique

  • Sens aigu des affaires et des finances

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • University science/healthcare degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in management;
  • Minimum 1-2 years client management experience;
  • Knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of post-marketing studies, Health Canada and / or risk management programs;
  • General knowledge of reimbursement and patient assistance programs, operational policies and processes, and clinical research;
  • Bilingual (French/English) an asset.
