The Opportunity The Allocation and Replenishment analyst is responsible for ensuring product is supplied at the right place, at the right time, in the right channels and in the appropriate quantity to meet our member’s needs. The Allocation & Replenishment Analyst will ensure high in stock levels for both stores and ecommerce by executing best practices in product allocation.

Location: This role is based at MEC's Support Office in Vancouver, with the option for hybrid (2 days in-office per week) or remote within Canada.

As the Allocation & Replenishment Analyst, you'll:

• Leverage our allocation system to ensure products are set up and seamlessly move from DC’s to stores using allocation plans created by the Merchant
• Perform Ongoing Store/SKU set up and maintenance to achieve in-stock goals and sales targets
• Manage a portfolio to ensure optimal in-store stock levels for allocated products and maximize productivity for replenishment products
• Minimize fulfillment costs of ecommerce orders through proper channel allocations and DC Web Reserve amounts
• Manage replenishment buying for portfolio items and associated required seasonal setup and ongoing maintenance of SKU’s in replenishment buy system (JDA AWR)
• Execute the Store Seasonal Changeover plan as defined by Merchant, while supporting stores with clear communication and timelines
• Develop product knowledge to become the store-level expert on allocation needs and opportunities
• Manage the store communication and feedback loop, responding to inquiries and requests while regularly sharing insights with the Merchant and Planning team to drive improvement for future seasons.
• Manage store communication tools, emails, phone calls and visits
• Drive allocations for promotional, clearance and campaign activities
• Develop understanding of the business including seasonal cycles, key products and doors, department strategies, key vendors.

What You Bring

• College/University level education with focus on Business, Supply Chain, Retail Management or related fields of study.
• 1-2 Years of similar or progressive experience in retail.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to prioritize and manage conflicting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, and ability to work in and influence cross functional teams.
• Understanding of the importance of analysis and planning; can organize, prioritize in a challenging, multi-tasking environment.
• A proven drive for results with the ability to leverage analysis to support decision-making.
• A proven sense of urgency when it matters.

T he Compensation & Perks! This is a permanent role with the anticipated salary range of $56,000 to $65,000 base + bonus . The exact salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s relevant skills, experience, qualifications and internal equity.
