We are looking for an experienced QA professional to support a high-impact modernization project on ashort-term contractinDowntown Toronto.
💻Who You Are:
- You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in ensuring software quality and reliability
- You thrive in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with developers and business stakeholders
- You are proactive in identifying and tracking defects, ensuring smooth software releases
- You have experience with both manual and automated testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage
- You’re familiar with tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps, TFS, and industry-standard testing methodologies
📍Work Type
- Hybrid (2-3 days per week required in the office)
- Office Location: Toronto, Ontario
- Contract Length:Contract goes until June 16, 2026, with the possibility of extension (must be incorporated)
Requirements
🎯What You’ll Do (Your Superpowers):
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases to validate software functionality
- Identify, document, and track bugs throughout the testing lifecycle
- Conduct regression testing to ensure smooth updates and bug fixes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define testing strategies aligned with project goals
- Work closely with developers and product teams to optimize the testing process
- Support production issue investigation and help maintain high-quality software standards
⭐What We’re Looking For (Our Wishlist):
-3-5 years of experiencein software testing, including manual and automation testing
- Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, and Scrum methodologies
- Hands-on experience withMicrosoft Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) -CTFL(Certified Tester Foundation Level) by ISTQB or equivalent certification (CSTE or CSQA)
