About The Role As a Senior Consultant , you will make an impact by delivering high‑quality consulting solutions across complex client engagements. You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services Consulting Practice , working collaboratively with consulting leadership, cross-functional delivery teams, and client stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
In This Role, You Will
- Take ownership of one or more components of a consulting engagement.
- Support or lead data-driven analysis to identify solution requirements.
- Conduct client workshops to gather requirements for business requirement documents and user stories.
- Monitor solution quality and compliance to standards; conduct or facilitate structured solution walkthroughs.
- Lead user acceptance testing, including issue tracking and resolution.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring regular presence in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, Ontario .

What You Must Have To Be Considered
- 6–10 years of experience in technology, consulting, professional services, or solution development.
- Strong background as a Senior Business Analyst with experience in business analysis, quality assurance, and end‑to‑end delivery across complex initiatives.
- Proficient understanding of high‑value payment systems, messages, and settlement methods such as Canada Lynx, SWIFT, and Fedwire.
- Skilled in MS Office, Agile methodology with a Product Owner mindset, Shift‑Left testing practices, and tools such as Jira, JTMF, and Confluence.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable, and testable requirements that align teams across business, technology, compliance, and external partners.
These will help you succeed
- Experience delivering solutions from requirements through testing, implementation, and post–go‑live support with strong focus on risk, regulatory alignment, and operational readiness.
- Specialization in validating test results across complex payment platforms to ensure accuracy, compliance, and deployment readiness.
- Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams, vendors, tools, and environments.
- Strong ability to identify defects early, analyze root causes, and drive timely resolution across multiple teams.

Compensation CAD 100,000–140,000 annually, plus performance bonus.
