What are your contributions to the team?
- The design of the electrical harnesses for the interiors of the G7500 / G8000 business jets
- Developing Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) in the Digital Mock-Up (DMU).
- Support Change management activity.
- Learn EIWS process and contribute on harness 3D modeling and harness Install drawing.
- Contribute by participating in other tasks depending on teams’ needs and demonstrate flexibility to adapt.
At the end of your internship, you will understand:
- The design / manufacturing aspect of aircraft harness.
- Essential EWIS Design tools.
- Change Management and configuration
How to thrive in this role?
- You speak French and English
- You are undertaking a university degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- You have knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Excel (VBA) and Microsoft Project; Catia V5 and NX would be a real plus.
- You are autodidact.
- You have a strong interest in programming, project management, change management and electrical wiring in aerospace.
Boarding Information:
- Location: Administrative Centre (CA)
- Duration: 8 months
- Flexible workplace-Hybrid
It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
