We are hiring a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis for our Calgary Head Office. If you have a passion for forecasting, collaboration, and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Planning and Analysis, you bring a strategic mindset, keen attention to detail, and a drive for continuous improvement. This high-impact role offers strong visibility with senior leadership and the opportunity to shape our path towards our growth targets. You will own the consolidated forecasting and planning calendar, working closely with Operational Controllers, Treasury, Accounting, HR, and IT to align assumptions, data, and deliverables across the enterprise.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast company performance and support strategic decision-making
  • Prepare quarterly Board and Executive presentations, including KPI reporting and narrative insights
  • Coordinate enterprise-wide forecast and budget timelines, deliverables, and process improvements
  • Own the corporate and consolidated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts, including key assumptions, trends, and variance analysis
  • Partner with operational controllers to integrate business-unit forecasts and oversee G&A cost centre forecasting
  • Collaborate with treasury to enhance short-term cash and working capital forecasting, including covenant forecasting and sensitivity analysis
  • Champion the use of emerging AI tools to improve forecasting accuracy, analytics, and FP&A efficiency
  • Administer and continuously optimize the Oracle EPBCS forecasting platform
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and lead special projects that advance departmental goals
  • Support the development and monitoring of the corporate strategic plan

What we would like from you

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering, plus a CPA, CFA, CBV, or FPAC designation
  • 5+ years leading an FP&A team and 10+ years of progressive finance experience (manufacturing experience is considered an asset)
  • Strong analytical judgment with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency with planning tools (Oracle EPBCS preferred) and advanced Excel skills; formal modeling training an asset
  • Skilled in both operational and consolidated financial forecasting
  • Exceptional communicator and relationship builder across Operations, Senior Management, Accounting, HR, and IT
  • Independent self-starter with high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative approach
  • Curious, business-minded, and motivated to produce accurate, high-quality results
  • Willingness to travel to sites across Canada and the U.S. as required

Location and other key details:

  • This is a full-time permanent position based out of our Calgary Corporate Office
  • The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional additional hours as required
  • Hybrid work flexibility with a blend of remote and in-office collaboration
