About PheedLoop
PheedLoop is one of Canada’s fastest-growing event technology companies, building advanced software and hardware for the events industry. From virtual event platforms and smart check-in systems to monetization tools and attendee engagement features, we’re constantly innovating. Based in Toronto, we’re a tight-knit team obsessed with solving real customer problems and moving fast.
We listen closely to customer feedback, build creative solutions at lightning speed, and never stop pushing the boundaries of what events can be. If you're looking for a role that will challenge you, accelerate your career, and let you be part of something exciting, you’ve found the right place.
About the Role
We’re hiring our first full-time Event Planner to design, execute, and grow PheedLoop’s event programs from the ground up.
This role goes beyond logistics. You’ll be the architect and executor of events that drive new leads, brand love, and customer referrals — from intimate customer experiences to large-scale industry activations. You’ll prove the ROI of our events and then scale successful concepts across Canada and the United States, starting with Ontario (IE: Toronto, Ottawa) before expanding into new regions.
You’ll work closely with our marketing, sales, and customer success teams to bring events to life, measure impact, and continuously raise the bar.
This is a career-defining opportunity for someone ready to take ownership, build a new function inside a young marketing team, and directly shape how PheedLoop connects with customers and the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of PheedLoop’s trade show, webinar, and virtual event programs
- Coordinate logistics for in-person events (shipping, setup, booth materials, scheduling)
- Help organize and host internal events like customer meetups, office tours, and demos
- Manage event-related tasks including scheduling, vendor coordination, and onsite support
- Collaborate with marketing to help build promotional materials (emails, landing pages, signage)
- Assist in capturing and tracking event engagement, leads, and follow-up actions
- Help maintain event calendars, checklists, and budgets to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Contribute to post-event reporting and feedback collection to continuously improve events
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in event planning, event marketing, or related fields (agency or in-house).
- Hands-on experience with event management software (PheedLoop or similar is a requirement).
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proven ability to manage event budgets, timelines, and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Clear communicator with confidence in both internal and customer-facing settings.
- Data-driven mindset — you know how to measure event success and adjust accordingly.
- Willing to travel (15–25%) across Canada and the US; occasional weekend/off-hour support.
Who You Are
- You’ve worked as an event coordinator or event manager and are ready to take the next step — owning programs end-to-end instead of just supporting them.
- Works hard and takes pride in doing things well and has big ambitions and a hunger to learn
- Wants to be part of a close-knit team building something meaningful
- Brings energy and positivity to your work and the people around you
- Is looking for more than a job — you're looking for a place to grow
Perks
- In-person role at our Toronto office (Yonge-University subway line near Sheppard)
- A fun, passionate, and high-performing team
- Opportunities for rapid growth and learning
- The chance to help shape the future of event technology
