Job Outline: The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing medication distribution, drug information and education services to patients and staff in a traditional dispensing system. You will be involved in interacting with other interprofessional team members and patients to determine the most appropriate and effective course of treatment for patients and implement interventions in accordance with the standards of practice for the discipline. Job Type: Temporary Full Time (up to 10 months)
Education & Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy Part A License to practice with the Ontario College of Pharmacists Previous related experience in a hospital setting is required Excellent oral and written English communication skills Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite Previous experience with Meditech is an asset Membership with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP) is preferred Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required Salary: Minimum - $48.21/hour; Maximum - $64.50/hour
