Job Description- Medical Office Assistant
Infinity Health is seeking an experienced Medical Office Assistant to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our office running smoothly by providing support to our healthcare team and ensuring an organized, efficient environment. You will be the first point of contact for patients, supporting clinical staff, and managing electronic medical records. Must be available during evenings and weekends.
Role Responsibilities
Greet clients in a welcoming and respectful manner Answering and screening phone calls, prioritizing and responding appropriately Maintain and update EMR records, process patient intake forms, and maintain accurate health records Manage billing, payments, and insurance documentation Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the clinic
Qualifications
Must obtain a Medical Office Assistant certification Experience in a medical office/clinic preferred Comfortable with EMR system and MS Office ( Word, Excel, Outlook) Highly organized, adaptable and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends CPR/First Aid training is an asset.
