About the role

Job Summary:

Teldio is looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional to take ownership of our operations and logistics functions. This role blends hands-on logistics execution with process optimization and cross-functional collaboration across purchasing, shipping, inventory, and administrative support.

If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, thrive on creating order from complexity, and want to be an essential contributor to a growing tech company, this might be a great fit.

What you will be doing:

Shipping & Logistics Responsibilities

  • Prepare outgoing product shipments, ensuring device setup and all required documentation is complete.

  • Coordinate courier pickups, track deliveries, and proactively resolve shipping issues.

  • Communicate logistics status to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Purchasing & Vendor Coordination

  • Source supplies, equipment, and services according to operational needs and budget constraints.

  • Manage purchasing lifecycle—from vendor communication to invoice reconciliation.

  • Track orders to ensure timely delivery and escalate delays as needed.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels of hardware, accessories, and consumables to prevent stockouts.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and reduce shrinkage.

  • Maintain records and labeling systems to track product movements efficiently.

Administrative & Office Operations

  • Support day-to-day administrative activities to ensure smooth office functionality.

  • Maintain and organize digital and physical records for shipments, purchases, and equipment.

  • Assist in onboarding processes related to equipment provisioning and workspace setup.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Generate and distribute reports on shipping performance, inventory levels, and purchasing activity.

  • Identify inefficiencies in logistics or procurement workflows and suggest improvements.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize operational support processes.

What we’re looking for:

Required Traits and Skills

  • Meticulously organized, with a strong attention to detail and process.

  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Technically capable with spreadsheets, inventory software, and shipment tracking tools.

  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years in an operations, logistics, purchasing, or administrative coordination role.

  • Experience with inventory systems or ERP software is a strong asset.

  • Familiarity with shipping platforms (e.g., FedEx, Purolator) and procurement processes.

  • Bonus: experience in a technology or hardware-centric organization.

Role Logistics:

  • This is an Ottawa-based role with on-site responsibilities. Hybrid flexibility may be considered depending on experience and role maturity.

  • Occasional lifting or physical handling of equipment may be required.

Perks and Benefits:

  • Medical coverage for medical, dental, and vision

  • Flexible work hours and PTO (vacation and sick days)

  • A collaborative, tight-knit team focused on solving meaningful problems

  • Opportunities to work across teams and learn about software, security, and communications technology
