Our client, a growing company specializing in the design and manufacturing of automated solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Supervisor – Team Leader for their Lachine site.
Main Tasks:
- Supervise, lead, and motivate the team of mechanical assemblers in carrying out their daily tasks.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the progress of mechanical assembly work.
- Ensure the quality of assemblies according to technical plans and drawings.
- Work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during assembly.
- Perform various administrative tasks related to production follow-up (reports, data updates, etc.).

Requirements:
- Diploma (DEP) in industrial mechanics or mechanical assembly (asset).
- Relevant experience in mechanical assembly (mandatory).
- Experience in team supervision or management (mandatory).
- Strong foundation in reading and interpreting mechanical plans.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Proficiency with tools required for mechanical assembly.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Natural leadership, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Attention to detail, autonomy, and a team-oriented mindset.
Salary: $26 to $30 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Evening shift, Monday to Friday (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) Status: Temporary leading to permanent
