As Regional Sales Leader – Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) Canada, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our organization by leading the sales strategy and execution for our innovative solutions across Canada. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to meet or beat sales targets and fostering strong customer relationships.
You will report directly to our Vice President of Sales and you’ll work out of our Calgary, Canada location.
In this role, you will impact the growth and profitability of Honeywell Process Solutions by driving sales initiatives, building a high-performing sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective solutions delivery.
If you have experience selling and leading a team selling, a broad range of Automation solutions including, PLC/DCS, QCS, Instrumentation, AI-enabled Software Solutions, System Integration and services, we would like to speak with you!
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve order targets and drive business growth.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to expand market share in Canada.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive innovation in sales processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Create a culture of success and goal achievement
- Become known as an employer of choice & a sales team that top salespeople want to join
- Hire and develop Sales Staff to do both hunting and farming
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs, as required
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
- Collaborate with other sales teams and Business Units, Vertical teams, P&E, Legal, Finance, Controllership and other functions effectively to accelerate growth
- Collaborate with Sales Excellence to improve sales processes
- Collaborate with Inside Sales Team to free up customer facing time
- Maintain CRM data quality
- Able to travel up to 50% of the time
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE
- 15+ years of transferrable experience in sales leadership roles.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and achieving targets.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven sales leadership/management experience
- Strong technical background in automation, control & software in both process and discrete industries including Oil & Gas, Refining, Pulp & Paper.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
