Director of Learning Architecture and Learning Experience Design will lead and scale our Learning Content Production and Learning Experience Design teams. This role is critical in shaping the strategic vision for creating high-quality learning assets and experiences that enhance customer proficiency with our products. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience, a deep understanding of instructional design and content production, and a passion for driving customer success through innovative learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement vision and strategies that guide the Content Production, Learning Experience Design, and learning scalability in creating high-quality learning content and experiences.
- Establish strategic plans and objectives for Learning experiences, ensuring alignment with the broader goals of Customer Learning and Customer Success.
- Oversee and direct the activities of the functional areas, ensuring that all teams operate efficiently and meet their objectives.
- Consider on-page and in-app feedback that elevates structure, visuals, and information design for learning content.
- Partner with and influence senior leaders and executives across Customer Success, Product, and Education on significant matters related to learning initiatives and strategies.
- Engage with senior leadership across the company to advocate for and align learning strategies with broader company goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in learning and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing content production, instructional design, and learning advisory teams.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and eLearning technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $128,200 and $176,220. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
