About the role
Who we are:
Five years ago, Dragonfruit set out to bring together some of the most talented visual storytellers, viral video strategists, and big-name clients, to change the way we create and consume on YouTube. The result has been bigger than we could have imagined, having generated billions of organic views and hundreds of millions of subscribers for creators like MrBeast, Ali Abdaal, Chris Williamson, Codie Sanchez, Neil Patel and orgs like Y Combinator, e.l.f beauty, WHOOP, ClickUp, Linktree, Center for Humane Technology & more.
Unlike other social media agencies or YouTube businesses, Dragonfruit refuses to celebrate a “creator economy” that trades viewers’ time and attention for rapid-fire dopamine entertainment.
Instead, we are leading a global movement to make YouTube a more valuable and educational place for all people; where views and subscribers are never an end in and of themselves, but rather a means of increasing human flourishing; where viral-educational YouTube channels not only bolster awareness and impact for our client's brands, but also create genuine value in viewers’ lives.
The Role:
As a Post-Production Manager at Dragonfruit, you’ll sit at the operational center of some of the most influential YouTube channels in the world — ensuring that hundreds of videos each month move smoothly from edit to delivery without sacrificing quality, speed, or storytelling impact.
You’ll oversee the end-to-end post-production process across multiple client accounts, coordinating with editors, creative directors, and producers to make sure timelines are met, files are organized, and every piece of content leaving the studio reflects Dragonfruit’s standards of excellence. You’re not just tracking edits — you’re architecting the systems that make world-class content possible at scale.
You’ll identify workflow inefficiencies, establish clear SOPs, enforce QC standards, and act as the connective tissue between creative and operations.Success in this role means becoming the person everyone relies on to keep post-production running at peak performance — calm under pressure, obsessed with detail, and relentless about shipping great work on time.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in post-production or creative operations within an agency, production company, or YouTube-focused environment.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-client pipelines, overseeing 300+ assets in various stages of post-production simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of the creative workflow — from ingest and assembly through QC, revision management, and final delivery.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro and After Effects) and familiarity with collaborative tools like Frame.io , ClickUp, Notion, or similar project-management platforms.
- Strong organizational and systems-thinking mindset — able to spot process bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards under tight deadlines.
- Experience leading and mentoring post-production teams, setting clear expectations, and managing bandwidth.
- Excellent communicator — able to balance empathy with accountability when interfacing with creatives and clients alike.
- Bonus: familiarity with YouTube analytics, retention data, and how editing choices affect performance.
What you can expect:
- An exciting creative startup culture – operate cross-functionally, wear several hats, and occasionally work long hours, during evenings, and/or weekends. We are a hungry and ambitious group of people trying to accomplish something large and challenging and we’re looking for folks who are enthusiastic and willing to do what is required to reach their goals.
- Personal growth – use Dragonfruit’s culture of excellence as an incubator to improve your professional skills, learn new mental models, sharpen your critical thinking, and operate at the forefront of new media.
- Be a key player in a fast-growing company – help take the company from 40 employees to 100+, identifying blind spots in our service offering and working collaboratively with leadership to improve systems/processes.
- Earn more – take advantage of regular performance-based raises, generous referral and sales commissions, & more..
