ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will build relationships and become the customers first call when they have a problem or need. Set your own schedule and priorities to deliver customer value.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will:
- Operate independently and with support of Industry Specialists, Shop Services and Customer Service teams
- Call on current and prospective customers to grow the business
- Deliver solutions-based proposals and products to address those customer needs/goals
- Drive cost savings, efficiencies and increased safety in the customers operations
- Consult with customers to understand their pain points and improvement goals
- Work to become a trusted consultant, problem solver and first call for your customers
- Conduct product presentations and demos at customer sites
- Utilize manufacturer representatives to assist in solving customer issues and demonstrations
- Learn about Motions diverse product and services offerings
- Grow your knowledge to increase your value to your customers
- Participate in Motion and manufacturer training
- Share your big ideas, learn from your mistakes, ask for help and lend a hand when needed

Motion serves the industrial marketplace with MRO (maintenance, repair, and operation) replacement parts and services through a network of over 550 locations across North America. Customers have access to over 4.6 million parts from Motion's extensive line of authorized brands in Bearings, Mechanical Power Transmission, Electrical and Industrial Automation, Hydraulic and Industrial Hose, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Components, Industrial Supplies, and Material Handling.
Motion Industries' sales people provide the highest levels of technical support in the industry. Currently, more than 1,000 technically trained Sales Representatives make on-site service calls daily to provide solutions for customers' parts and service requirements. In addition, 200 dedicated product specialists and a technical support center supplement Motion's service offerings.
Innovative solutions and efficient processes contribute to Motion Industries' position as a supply chain leader, to assist customers successfully manage their MRO parts transactions from quote through payment – the complete purchasing cycle.
