The Opportunity

We are currently looking to hire a Receptionist at one of our Scarborough facility. Shift timing : 8AM - 4PM

What you'll do

In this role, you will showcase your organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced professional office environment. Your drive for excellence will present opportunities to chart your own path to success in our company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible in performing purchasing activities including PO requisitions, new orders, and receivables. The role also performs creating a load plan for shipping requirements and make adjustments for any after-hours customer contact.

The role will be task in cross-functional responsibilities including supporting onboarding functions specifically on plant H&S training and orientation, record keeping/invoicing duties while providing clerical support functions including Microsoft office, routine correspondence, photocopying, placing stationery orders for multiple locations.

What You Bring

  • Post secondary education in administration related field of study is an asset.

  • Highly organized with strong interpersonal and time management skills.

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent telephone, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines and changing workload demands.

  • Ability to work under pressure required.

  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high regard for accuracy and quality.

  • Experience working in manufacturing would be an asset.

  • Knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and standards

Annual Base Salary Range

Up to $50,000 per year. A candidate’s experience and knowledge may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
