Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Enterprise Analytics and Automation to lead a high-performing team of Business Intelligence Analysts, Data Scientists, and Solution Developers within a healthcare environment. This role is pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights that drive clinical, operational, and strategic improvements across the organization.
The candidate will be responsible for guiding a diverse team with varied technical expertise—ranging from dashboard development and data modeling to advanced machine learning and solution architecture. They will foster a collaborative and innovative culture, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals while promoting best practices in data governance, analytics delivery, and emerging technologies.
As the Director of Enterprise Analytics and Automation, the candidate will work closely with senior leadership, clinical teams, and operational stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven impact, prioritize initiatives, and ensure timely execution of analytics projects. Key leadership competencies will be instrumental in modernizing analytics capabilities, integrating AI and machine learning into decision-making processes, and supporting the digital transformation of healthcare services.
While prior healthcare experience is a plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to lead, innovate, and drive value through analytics.

Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Health Informatics, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, within organization of similar size and scope with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong background in data warehousing and architecture will be considered a great asset
- Strong proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R).
- Experience with Power Platform, AI/ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Azure ML will be considered an asset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and enterprise data management practices.
- Familiarity with healthcare data (e.g., EMR, claims, clinical metrics) is advantageous but not required.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including clinical leadership, finance, operations, and IT to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate with technical teams and partner organizations to develop mechanisms for data engineering and various ingestion frameworks.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and predictive models using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, and Excel.
- Oversee the development of automated data collection processes using Power Platform
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings to executive leadership.
- Drive adoption of analytics solutions and foster a culture of data literacy across the organization.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Contribute to the evolution of enterprise data strategy and modernization initiatives.
