Role Overview Impact XM is a global fast-growing, dynamic organization that embraces technology and the role it plays in enabling people to work better together. We have crafted many of our solutions in-house or with the use of cutting-edge partners and software. Technology is a vital part of our organization’s growth and success, and we are seeking a strategic and execution-focused individual to deliver on the evolution of our global business systems and digital solutions. Reporting directly to the VP, Technology, this role will combine a systems-thinking mindset, problem solving, and cross-functional team management. A successful candidate will have these skills in spades, along with the desire to translate business needs into scalable systems, optimize enterprise platforms, and drive innovation across ERP, CRM, BI, and AI technologies.
This is a profile role – engaging with all levels of our organization, across all departments – and we’re looking for someone who is just as comfortable speaking with developers as they are with executive leadership!
Key Responsibilities

Partner with the VP, Technology to execute the business systems strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Deliver on solution implementation, enhancement, and integration of enterprise platforms including:
-
ERP systems
-
CRM platforms
-
Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI)
-
AI and automation solutions (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Power Platform)
-
Translate business requirements into effective, scalable, and user-friendly technical solutions.
-
Manage full lifecycle of business systems projects – supporting and participating in the discovery and design, and executing through deployment, training, and adoption.
-
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.
-
Champion data governance, integration, and analytics to support enterprise reporting and decision-making.
-
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance business capabilities and customer experience.
-
Build strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and successful delivery of technology initiatives.

Work across organizations in the Impact XM group, identifying areas of opportunity for data-sharing, optimization, and efficiency.

Support the acquisition of new businesses by evaluating systems & processes and determining their fit/integration with Impact XM’s

Oversee vendor relationships, including recommendation, sourcing & selection and performance management.

Ffosteri a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement across the business systems
Required Skills & Experience
-
6-8 years of experience in enterprise technology, with a focus on business systems and digital transformation.

Ideal candidate has held various team lead roles, and demonstrated excellence in managing matrix/project teams across various levels of organizations and skillsets
-
Proven ability to work with global teams
-
Demonstrated experience in ERP, CRM, BI, and AI implementations/optimizations (as a key project role or as a team member).

Hands-on experience with the following is preferred:

Microsoft Power BI for reporting and analytics
-
Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI for intelligent automation and productivity
-
Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for low-code/no-code solutions
-
Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
-
Strong understanding of business processes across finance, operations, sales, and marketing.

Demonstrated ability to act as a consultant: understand business goals & challenges, synthesize potential (and actionable) technology solutions.
-
A knack for being able to communicate with business-minded stakeholders and code-focused developers.
-
A process & systems thinker with the desire to understand business challenges, mock up workflows/solutions; get stakeholder buy-in and then convey to development teams.
-
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.

Comfortable asking challenging questions, pushing back (strategically) on ideas/asks, and owning solution success (and failure, if it happens)
-
Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig into a challenge and see it through to completion, identifying the resources required to solve, deliver, and manage it once implemented.

Familiarity and past experience collaborating with the IT/IS functions on business systems and technical solutions is a must
-
Experience with data architecture, integration, and governance best practices.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment with shifting priorities.

Experience in the marketing, media, or events industry is a plus.
