We are currently seeking an experiencedAssistant Manager, Security Operationsto oversee security programs, manage security technology systems, and lead a team of security supervisors. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence and emergency preparedness while maintaining compliance with security policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
As theAssistant Manager, Security Operations, you will:
Oversee Security Technology Systems
- Manage and maintain theAccess Control System, processing access requests, and programming system updates.
- Develop, implement, and provide ongoing training for theVisitor Management System, ensuring all security personnel are up to date.
- Administer and troubleshoot theCCTV System, conducting data entry, analysis, and maintenance of security footage.
Security OperationsLeadership
- Lead a team of4 Shift Supervisors, 1 Communications Center Supervisor, and 1 Trailer Control Supervisor, ensuring smooth security operations.
- Enforce**Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)**to maintain the highest level of security and compliance.
- Provide directoperational supportby overseeing day-to-day security activities for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Assist theManager, Security Operationsin developing and implementing security programs.
Incident ManagementEmergency Response
- Respond to and coordinate emergency situations, making critical decisions under high-pressure circumstances.
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and preparedetailed incident reportsin a timely and accurate manner.
- Identify and resolve operational concerns that may impact security program plans and budgets.
AdministrativeAnalytical Support
- Coordinate scheduling andpayroll reportingfor security personnel.
- Manage security system activities, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze and compilestatistical reports and data spreadsheets, includingmonthly and year-end security reports.
Qualifications
Experience:Minimum3+ years in a supervisory or management role, preferably within the security, law enforcement, or risk management industry.
**Leadership Skills:**Strong ability to supervise, coach, and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
Security System Expertise:Hands-on experience withAccess Control, CCTV Systems, visitor management programs, and security software.
**Crisis ManagementDecision-Making:**Ability to assess situations, remain calm under pressure, and take immediate action when needed.
CommunicationReporting:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience inincident reporting and data analysis.
**AdministrativeTechnical Proficiency:Strong skills inMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)**and experience compiling statistical reports.
**Problem-SolvingAttention to Detail:**Ability to analyze security concerns, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with policies.
