Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Oversee the daily hiring and off hiring of various plant machinery types and sizes.
Coordinate plant and equipment availability, scheduling, and dispatch
Ensure all hires are processed accurately, including contracts, delivery notes, and returns Monitor equipment utilisation to maximise efficiency and revenue
Customer Service & Sales
Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries and bookings
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients Provide expert advice on suitable plant and equipment for customer needs Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
Logistics & Coordination
Plan and coordinate deliveries and collections with drivers
Liaise with Service Manager to ensure equipment is hire-ready Work with service manager to ensure efficient turnaround of returned equipment
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations
Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections and certifications Help maintain and promote a strong safety culture
Financial & Administrative Duties
Monitor hire rates, invoicing, and profitability
Assist in budgeting and cost control Ensure all documentation and systems are up to date.
Key Skills And Qualifications
Proven experience in plant hire, tool hire, or construction equipment industry
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Leadership or supervisory experience Good knowledge of plant machinery and hire processes IT proficiency (hire software systems, Microsoft Office) Understanding of health and safety regulations

We have been trading since November 1995 and currently hold somewhere in the region of 2000 plus major items of plant within our extensive range of equipment from our Morden and Kent depots.
We can boast of having a work force of 45 professional staff ranging from transport drivers, fitters, office staff and cover an area of South East England taking in counties such as Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Hants, Middlesex, Herts, Berks, London, Oxfordshire, Suffolk, Essex, etc.
We undertake all size of jobs from small works to major contracts and in recent times special project management has been undertaken with special plant equipment like Tower Cranes and Large Excavators and Dump trucks. Due to this versatility we have an increased annual growth of 30% over the past three years.
We are fully compliant with all the current health and safety requirements on our plant equipment and operators and comply with the CITB & CPCS Schemes.
