Your contribution:
Under the supervision and collaboration of the Vice President, IT and Innovation:

• You will perform the following main functions (examples):
• Perform tasks related to external customer support for software supported by the company.
• Work in collaboration with other members of the IT team on various projects, as required.
• Ensure a high level of service to external customers by respecting the priorities and service level agreements in place. Occasionally support internal customers.
• Analyze and solve customer problems and carry out appropriate follow-ups.
• Participate, as required, in the installation of computer systems (coordination with other departments, sales outlets, etc.).
• Ensure the installation of updates on our systems used by the stores.
• Develop and implement procedures for internal and external customers in order to:
• Educate them in the proper use of the computer system.
• Reduce the number of calls to IT systems.
• Supported software: Point of sale, inventory control, order management, purchasing, etc. (Costar, Eagle POS, Eagle Compass (BI), NexPart, Vision, etc.).
• Hardware and peripherals: Local network environment, Windows, client/server, Linux and others.

Do you have what it takes to rise to the challenge?

Required qualifications:

• DCS in computer science.
• Experience or knowledge of the above-mentioned supported software is an asset.
• Since our operations are located across Canada, you'll be required to use English on a daily basis, both orally and in writing.

Required skills:

• Strong functional analysis and data interpretation skills.
• Rigorous, well-organized, resourceful and self-taught.
• Great adaptability.
• Willingness to learn new computer languages and tools.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Location and working environment:

• The workplace is located at the Montreal head office (4840, boul. des Grandes Prairies) in the Saint-Léonard borough.
• Free parking is available on site.
• The site is accessible by bus from Viau metro station and by AMT train (Mascouche line) - 1.4 km from Saint-Michel - Montréal Nord station.
