Position Description:

Reporting to the Junior Controller, the Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This role will be involved in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, treasury activities, month-end close, audit support, and finance-related projects.

This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position based at our London, Ontario office. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

  • Process employee expense reports and complete company credit card reconciliations

  • Support treasury and cash management activities

  • Prepare and submit government remittances

  • Maintain accurate third-party accounting records as part of LBMX’s managed services offering, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related financial transactions

  • Prepare month-end reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, credit cards, accounts payable, and accrued liabilities

  • Prepare and maintain working papers and journal entries for period-end close

  • Maintain customer billing information in Salesforce ERP

  • Support internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

  • Investigate and resolve errors or discrepancies in account balances

  • Provide information and support for year-end audit engagements

  • Assist with reporting and special projects, including ERP or accounting system conversions, banking conversions, and other finance initiatives

  • Support the Finance team with other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Two to four years of accounting experience in a similar role or environment

  • Strong practical knowledge of accounting practices and standards

  • Proficiency with Microsoft and other office tools

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team priorities

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Salesforce, NetSuite or other ERP systems would be considered an asset

Compensation

Salary Range: $60,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
