About The Team & Business Line Intelligent Automation (IA) is a multidisciplinary team within the Transformation Office (TO), tasked with identifying, developing, and deploying automated solutions by leveraging a variety of emerging technologies. These technologies encompass Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Test Automation, Business Process Management, APIs, and Cloud Services.
Responsibilities Your Role: As a Senior Automation Developer within the Intelligent Automation (IA) team, you will be pivotal in developing and implementing automated solutions for the Citco Group. You will collaborate closely with process owners and business unit representatives to streamline and digitize operational processes, thereby driving significant efficiency and cost savings for Citco.
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end automated solutions using a wide range of technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation. (RPA), Test Automation, Business Process Management (BPM), APIs, and Cloud Services.
- Work closely with business analysts, lead developers, and other cross-functional teams to understand the requirements, analyze user stories, and translate acceptance criteria into clear, automated solutions.
- Develop and review solution design documents, articulate clear current and future states.
- Suggest and champion technical best practices and continuous improvement initiatives for the team.
- Participate in all phases of the project life cycle, including scoping, analysis, solution development, deliverable review, and implementation.
- Develop reusable components/shared services.
- Suggest technical best practices for the team to implement.
- Engage in daily scrum stand-up meetings, backlog grooming sessions, review sessions, and retrospective meetings.
- Perform validation and testing for releases, including new features, bug fixes, and system upgrades, with flexibility for off-hours testing as needed.
Qualifications About You:

Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

3+ years of experience in developing solutions using Python programming language

Proficiency in modern automation tools and technologies, specifically:

RPA platforms: UiPath
-
Cloud services: Proficient using cloud infrastructure like AWS.

AI/ML: Experience integrating AI and Machine Learning capabilities, such as NLP, and machine learning models.

API development: Experience with API automation and integration, including tools like Postman

BPM: Knowledge of Business Process Management tools and methodologies

Able to efficiently develop and maintain scripts and queries to import, clean, transform, and augment large volumes of structured and unstructured data

Proficient using source code control systems

Exceptional communications skills, both written and oral

Ability to work independently

- Knowledge of financial products and hedge fund administration
- Agile project management proficiency
- Strong analytical skills for business requirements and clear system documentation
