About the role

Job Summary

The Retail Coordinator’s role is to train and direct retail clerks in ordering, receiving, sales, inventory, cash control and customer service functions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Ensure customer complaints are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner when a Manager is not present. Coach and motivate retail staff to perform their duties to the best of their abilities. Maintain positive customer relations by ensuring efficient, quality service and operation of store at all times. Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed; maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock. Ensure that maintenance of all equipment is completed when necessary; responsible for notifying Management for need of outside service. Follow-up with employees to ensure the tasks are being executed correctly and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Customer Service experience. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Outlook. Experience in Campware is an asset. At least one year prior retail supervisory experience required. Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills. Confident and motivated by the opportunity to interact with customers. Friendly, out-going, open-minded, engaging personality. Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
