We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Crane Operator Apprentices to join our fast-paced, dynamic team in Saint John, New Brunswick. This is a great opportunity to start a rewarding career in crane operation.

Learn and adhere to safety procedures, operational procedures and regulations under the guidance of experienced operators.

Actively participate in the safety program at all times.

Assist experienced crane operators in various tasks while learning the skills necessary to become a qualified crane operator.

Assist in the setup and preparation of cranes for operation.
-
Observe and assist in crane operations to understand proper techniques.
-
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cranes and related equipment.
-
Support lifting and rigging activities under supervision.
-
Keep accurate records of work hours, tasks performed, and skills learned.
-
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
-
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
-
Participate in training sessions and educational programs to enhance crane operation knowledge.

Willingness to travel.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
-
Basic understanding of mechanical and hydraulic principles is an asset.

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced operators.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.

Valid driver’s license (minimum Class 5, willing to get Class 1 within one year).
