About the role

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to join our team and drive quality assurance initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in test strategy development, E2E test automation, and scale testing. They will lead a team responsible for ensuring the resilience and stability of our distributed systems. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of our products and services.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance and mentorship. Be hands-on in Test Automation development for a new product. Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy, covering E2E automation and scale testing. Execute and oversee scale testing scenarios, utilizing device simulators and traffic generators. Ensure the stability and reliability of our systems through effective regression testing. Apply chaos engineering principles to test distributed systems' resilience, including node failure and control plane partition scenarios. Collaborate with development teams to integrate and automate testing processes. Analyze and report on test results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA and testing methodologies. Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Key Skills And Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred At least 5+ years of experience in QA management and leadership roles. Proven expertise in test strategy development and E2E automation.

Hands on Test Automation development is a MUST

Experience with a variety of Test Automation frameworks is a MUST Experience with cloud and Kubernetes environments is a MUST Strong knowledge of scale testing techniques and tools. Experience with chaos engineering and distributed systems resilience testing. Proficiency in using device simulators and traffic generators for scale testing. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach. Familiarity with Nokia Quality processes is an advantage. Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing QA team.
