What you'll be doing

Simplii Financial is transforming how Canadians manage their money by focusing on innovative, client-centered experiences. As a Business Specialist on our delivery team, you will play a key role in business analysis across a range of financial products, services, and processes. In this role, you will support end-to-end business analysis activities by taking clear ownership of initiatives, transforming complex business and client needs into actionable requirements that drive accelerated delivery. You will help shape intuitive processes by identifying sources of friction and designing improvements that make banking clearer, faster, and easier for both clients and internal teams. Working closely with product, technology, operations, and partner teams, you will ensure that requirements and process designs are aligned, practical, and focused on real client and business value. Leveraging structured problem-solving and modern analysis methods, you will identify root causes, validate assumptions, and create clarity in ambiguous environments. You will produce high-quality documentation—including requirements, process flows, and supporting documentation—to enable teams to move with confidence and minimize unnecessary complexity. Additionally, you will monitor and assess process performance, uncovering opportunities for improvement and supporting continuous optimization across the delivery lifecycle. By applying AI-enabled tools and practices, you will enhance analysis quality and speed to support decision-making.

At Simplii we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed

  • Deliver High-Quality Business Analysis and Product Delivery - Support requirements gathering, documentation, and process assessment with guidance. Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
  • Champion Process Excellence and Best Practices - Learn and apply standard business analysis methodologies. Follow established processes and seek feedback for improvement.
  • Foster Stakeholder Relationships and Change Adoption - Communicate clearly with stakeholders and participate in meetings. Seek to understand stakeholder needs and support change initiatives.
  • Demonstrate Strategic Business and Technical Acumen - Build foundational understanding of business processes and technical concepts. Ask questions to clarify requirements and analysis.
  • Drive Innovation through AI and Continuous Learning - Evaluate and apply AI tools to enhance analysis. Identify opportunities for process improvement with AI and share insights with the team. Pursue professional development.
  • Contribute to a Positive and Inclusive Workplace - Actively promote teamwork and inclusivity. Resolve conflicts constructively, recognize colleagues’ contributions, and support team morale.

  • You’re a certified professional. You have post-secondary education in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant certifications are an asset.
  • You can demonstrate experience in business analysis, process engineering, and cross-functional delivery. You navigate both business needs and technical considerations with confidence.
