Driver Services Administrator - 13-month Contract

As a Driver Services Administrator you will be responsible for sharing this brand promise through your interactions with each of our Drivers and affiliated Owner-Operators. In our fast-paced environment, you will provide Bison’s Drivers and affiliated Owner-Operators with the highest standard of support. Whether it be providing a first-class experience to our current Drivers and affiliated Owner-Operators as you handle a variety of inquiries in a professional and efficient manner, providing administrative support for the department, or working on a variety of special projects, the Driver Services Administrator is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to join our team.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Presenting weekly to Drivers in orientation class on topics such as Benefits and HR related policies.
- Acting as the first point of contact for our Drivers and Owner-Operators providing an optimal level of service through each interaction.
- Maintaining accurate and current driver files by uploading cards, tests, certifications, driver documents, etc. in Driver’s personnel record.
- Creating Pay Scales, Conditions of Employment, Owner-Operator Contracts, and unpaid leave letters.
- Providing documents, assistance and administrative support to drivers IE. passport applications, Driver’s Licenses, work permits.
- Issuing property to Drivers and ensuring all relevant personnel information is current and up to date.
- Using professional, courteous telephone and personal communication, the Driver Services Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service handling high volume of emails and calls.
- Will manage the mailbox and mail out procedures and that of the terminals and ensure that each Driver, Owner Operator (and their drivers) have a mailbox or alternative method of receiving communication where mailboxes are not available.
- Engage in other projects and responsibilities as necessary and as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-4 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced office environment.
- 2 years of experience in a service-related industry.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Works well in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Excellent PC skills - Windows, MS Office Suite, Internet.
- Diploma in Business Administration or related areas of studies would be an asset.
- Knowledge of the Transportation Industry is considered an asset.
- Experience using Workday would be an asset.
