We partner with healthcare organizations, developmental service agencies, community organizations, residential programs, and families to provide qualified professionals who make a meaningful difference in people's lives. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with strong industry relationships and a proven ability to secure new business opportunities. About the Role This is not a traditional sales role. We are looking for someone who understands Ontario's healthcare and social services landscape and has established relationships within the sector. Preference will be given to candidates with existing relationships within Community Living organizations, developmental service agencies, Ontario Health atHome, hospitals, mental health providers, long-term care homes, retirement homes, children's services, and other publicly funded community organizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and securing staffing and service contracts across Ontario. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Ontario. Build and maintain relationships with healthcare and community service organizations. Develop partnerships with Community Living organizations, developmental service agencies, mental health providers, hospitals, Ontario Health atHome, long-term care homes, retirement homes, group homes, Indigenous organizations, and other community agencies. Identify and respond to RFPs, procurement opportunities, and vendor applications. Conduct presentations and meetings with executive leaders and decision-makers. Negotiate contracts and service agreements. Manage an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve growth targets. Represent Melodia Home Care at networking events, conferences, and industry meetings. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 3 years of business development, partnership development, or healthcare sales experience. Experience working within healthcare, developmental services, home care, mental health, or community services. A strong network of contacts within Ontario's healthcare or social service sectors. A proven track record of securing contracts and developing strategic partnerships. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivation with the ability to work independently. A valid Ontario driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Ontario as required.
