Your Next Challenge Reporting to the Asset Management General Supervisor, you will be part of the Asset Management Department. You will aim to support our mobile asset fleets by ensuring the adequate equipment specifications, maintenance programs, part management and work instructions. This position allows to work with several mine sites in partnership. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Create new equipment Specifications document, and maintain existing ones.
  • Develop and improve the fleet maintenance strategic vision (mid-life, overhauls, lifecycle costing, Planned Component Replacement programs);
  • Based on Manufacturer, Corporate guidelines and client recommendations, create maintenance strategies for our mobile assets;
  • Define part lists (Bill or Materials) and procedures for each maintenance strategies;
  • Perform analysis, forecast and control part consumption to optimize inventory;
  • Collaborate with our team members to provide technical support and coaching;
  • Use data systems and data bases for analysis purposes;
  • Act in regard to employee relations, safety, environmental, productivity and cost issues and address inappropriate behavior as required;
  • Lead by example and encourage, adherence to Agnico Eagle’s Health and Safety Code of Conduct.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent;
  • 5+ JDEdwards (and/or other CMMS) working knowledge and experience;
  • 5+ years experience in maintenance, planning and reliability;
  • Proven experience in maintenance program development;
  • Project management skills;
  • Experience in the maintenance in mining is considered an asset;
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Note that the official working language at our Nunavut operations is English.

Your Work Schedule

  • Hybrid Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in either Val-d’Or, Rouyn-Noranda or Mirabel, QC.
  • Frequent visits to our Nunavut operations are also required.
