Salary: Payband G - $34.60 - $39.93
Starting Salary: $34.60 Progression through the payband is in accordance with the increments in the payband as outline in the Full-Time Support Staff Collective Agreement based on actual service in the payband.
Duration of Need : 18 Months
About The Education And Training Solutions Department At Humber Humber is the accredited delivery provider for a number of Associations and Professional Programs. As such, Humber delivers programs on behalf of Associations that are designed to enhance the learner's knowledge and competencies in specific fields. These programs are designed to provide a level of skills, knowledge, and attitudes to allow new professionals to work in their field directly upon completion of their program.
About The Program Liaison Role The Program Liaison’s primary role is to coordinate and ensure delivery of Association and Partnership programs, under the general direction of the Manager. These programs are part of Humber’s continuing professional learning and are offered to adult learners on evenings and/or weekends, in-class and/or online, throughout the Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer semesters.
As part of a cross-functional team, the incumbent is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to learners, corporate clients, association executives and members as well as providing orientation training, guidance on copyright policy, and general support for instructors.
The incumbent must work with our Associations and Partners to source instructors, review course descriptions, outlines and course materials/textbooks to ensure all information and materials are current and accurate each semester. They must coordinate the logistics of when each course should be offered throughout the year and determine when courses should be canceled, delayed or have sections added to accommodate demand, as per departmental guidelines. They are also responsible for scheduling instructors, contracts, classrooms (physical or virtual), ordering textbooks, updating brochures and marketing the programs.
The incumbent provides input to the Manager to determine the annual budget, assists in the planning and marketing of programs and brings forward new business opportunities as they arise.

Education
- 3 year diploma / degree or equivalent.
Experience/Skills

A minimum 3 years of adult-education related experience, preferably at a post-secondary institution.

The successful candidate will be a creative thinker and possess the skills required to coordinate multiple projects and events.

They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong attention to detail; problem solving skills; data management and advanced computer skills; including but not limited to MS Office Suite, the ability to organize and prepare professional documents; and the capacity to take initiative while demonstrating good judgment.

The incumbent must have a commitment to continuing education knowledge of programs of study and academic progression and regulations.

The successful candidate should also possess an ability to plan and deliver workshops and information sessions to continuous professional learners, liaise with partners and vendors.

Have the capacity to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work evenings and weekends. Excellent oral and written communication skills to support effective interaction between students, potential students, faculty and staff.
