Join Our Team as a Financial Analyst – Support Services Canadian Orthodontic Partners is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Support Services team in Etobicoke, ON.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis: Assist in month end P&L analysis activities. Variance analysis and provide commentary on results.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets.
  • Reporting: Prepare and build regular reports and presentations on financial performance for management and stakeholders.
  • KPI Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Cost Analysis: Assist in cost analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc financial analysis on business questions
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and insights for planning and analysis.
  • Financial Systems: Utilize financial systems and tools to streamline FP&A processes.
  • Various month end tasks including accruals, bank reconciliation, and journal entries required

Educational/Experience Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, or accounting/audit.
  • Excel Proficiency: Proficiency in using Excel for financial modeling and data analysis is essential.
  • SQL knowledge and understanding an asset
  • Financial Acumen: Basic understanding on GAAP accounting concepts, accruals, and journal entries.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and the ability to present complex financial information clearly to multiple stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications: Pursuing CPA designation
