Who Are We Looking For?
Citylitics is seeking a Director of Marketing to scale our demand engine, elevate our market position, and accelerate our long-term revenue growth plan. You will design and execute a comprehensive customer acquisition model that positions Citylitics as the category leader in predictive sales intelligence for public infrastructure.
You will lead positioning, messaging, and channel execution with direct accountability for hitting the sales pipeline targets required to fuel our aggressive revenue growth plan.
This function serves as a force multiplier across the GTM organization by creating a scalable, analytical, and financially disciplined engine that increases sales pipeline quality and CAC efficiency.
**As a CEO-reporting leader central to our success, this role requires an in-office presence 3 days a week at our Toronto Headquarters.

What Will You Accomplish?
Demand Generation & Strategy:
- Own the full channel portfolio (paid search, paid social, ABM, SEO/SEM, email, display, retargeting) with direct accountability for meeting the pipeline growth targets required to fuel our aggressive revenue plan.
- Lead integrated enterprise campaigns and scaled mid-market programs that deliver on our sales pipeline growth targets and directly support revenue goals.
- Experiment with emerging channels and technologies to identify new scalable levers necessary to sustain our high-growth trajectory.
Growth Marketing & Operations:
- Build the marketing analytics foundation: attribution, forecasting, scoring, and ROI dashboards.
- Own the demand generation budget, including allocation, financial modeling, forecasting, and Founder-level ROI reporting.
- Define and implement operating rhythms, roles, goals, and performance expectations to ensure high velocity.
Brand, & GTM Alignment:
- Drive a comprehensive brand re-positioning project and launch a new website to align our digital presence with our strategic growth plan.
- Shape and elevate Citylitics’ brand and market positioning to reinforce category leadership through industry platforms and thought leadership initiatives.
- Align with Sales, Customer Success and Product to ensure GTM cohesion and feedback loops.
Requirements
Experience & Track Record:
-5+ years in B2B SaaS marketing leadership, with a specific focus on Enterprise and Mid-Market GTM motions and a proven history of scaling demand in fast-growth environments. -Documented success driving pipeline growthfor complex enterprise products and scaled mid-market products involving multiple personas and stakeholders. -**Domain Alignment:**Experience or exposure in public infrastructure, GovTech, or data/AI-driven markets is a strong advantage.
Operational & Analytical Mastery:
-**Demand Architecture:**Deep expertise in architecting and scaling multi-channel demand generation systems, including ABM, paid media, SEO/SEM, events, and content strategy. -**Financial Discipline:**A financially literate operator skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and ROI modeling, with a proven ability to improve CAC efficiency and pipeline predictability. -**Tech-Forward Approach:**Proficiency across modern revenue stacks (HubSpot, Salesforce, BI platforms) and experience leveraging data, AI, & automation for targeting and attribution. -**System Design:**Experience designing scalable systems, cadences, and data hygiene processes that stand up to Board-level scrutiny.
Leadership & Strategic Alignment:
-**Integrated GTM Leadership:**Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Sales, Product, and Customer Success leadership to drive a unified GTM strategy, segmentation, and full-funnel execution. -**Executive Presence:**Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling executive and C-suite level communication.
