We Are On The Lookout!
We're expanding with a new Hopper Division and are seeking experienced drivers in Western Manitoba (West of Portage La Prairie area) or Eastern Saskatchewan (East of Regina area). We value teamwork, integrity and open communication.
Job Details
- Schedule: On the Road Monday - Friday, 4 - 5 Saturdays required per year
- Earning Potential: Paid as a percentage of revenue. Current drivers are averaging $3.20 - $3.40/running mile.
- Mileage Potential: Average 8,000 – 9,000 miles per month
- Service Area: Primarily within Manitoba and Saskatchewan
Job Responsibilities
- 8,000 -9,000 miles per month
- Hauling B-Trains
- Loads primarily within Manitoba & Saskatchewan, may include some Alberta work
- Driver would need to have or find parking for their equipment (including trailers)
Requirements

Previous B-Train or Hopper experience is required

Must have at least 1 year of Hopper experience
Truck Specifications
- Truck Age: preferably not over 10 years
- Wheelbase: 244” or less
- Unit Weight: 21,000lbs or less
- Fifth Wheel: Must be 48” or under
- With functional DEF

About Steve's Livestock Transport
Founded in 1987 as a one-man operation, Steve's Livestock Transport has since grown to become North America's largest commercial livestock transportation company. Over the last 25 years, we have expanded to include a dry freight division. We have three locations to serve our customers, in Blumenort and Brandon, Manitoba and Acme, Alberta.
We have a fleet of 130 power units, transporting more than 2,500 cattle and 150,000 pigs per week within Canada and the United States. All 3 of our locations have commercial washing and repair facilities for trucks and trailers. In addition to servicing our own units, these facilities provide custom washing and repairs for other large equipment and fleets as well.
