Join Our Cloud Experience Engineering SDET Team Our team is responsible for the quality of a suite of highly reliable services and systems. These are used by our customers to deploy and configure and manage their Akamai products.
Partner with the best As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will work with the development teams to support QE practices. You are responsible for testing and building automated integration and system tests. You will ensure resilient, scalable, quality code releases that perform optimally on our state-of-the-art distributed infrastructure. Your contribution will also help maintain our world wide network.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:
- Helping with performing full SQA cycle for software releases: gathering specs, developing test plans, review and execute the test plan.
- Designing,developing and maintaining testing automation and utilities, integrate with Jira, and work seamlessly with CI/CD for cloud based applications.
- Gathering and analyzing metrics in collaboration with internal teams to identity opportunities.
- Being a collaborative and proactive team member.
Do What You Love To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or its equivalent.
- Have good experience with programming languages including Java and Python, along with familiarity in widely used frameworks and testing tools such as TestNG.
- Demonstrate experience with API test frameworks leveraging industry standard technologies, and familiar with UI test frameworks.
- Possess experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, or similar.
- Demonstrate knowledge of SQL/MySQL, including understanding database schemas, and be able to write complex queries for testing.
- Have knowledge of load testing, and hands-on experience in building load tests is a plus
