What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining, Capital Markets Technology, CRM, Banking, Finance and Adjudication team. The Lead Senior Software Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of innovative technology solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture. This role involves providing strategic technical leadership, acting as a trusted advisor to senior management on emerging technologies, and translating complex business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions. The Technical Lead ensures the successful execution of projects by making critical technology decisions, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams, and addressing challenges with a focus on quality and innovation. Additionally, the role involves mentoring development teams, driving adherence to best practices, and providing senior-level technical consulting to IT leadership to shape the organization’s technology landscape and deliver impactful results.

How You’ll Succeed
- Technical Leadership: Drive the adoption of best practices in Domain-Oriented Architecture (DOA), Clean Architecture, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Act as development team lead and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet objectives. Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.
- System Design & Architecture: Architect scalable, modular, and maintainable solutions leveraging modern design patterns such as: Factory, Builder, Decorator, Observer, Adapter, and Singleton for coding patterns. Architect microservices-based solutions with robust inter-service communication patterns. Hexagonal Architecture, CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation), and Event-Driven Architecture for system design. Design and implement multi-tier applications with a focus on scalability and fault tolerance. Contribute to technology roadmaps that are aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives. Lead multiple complex technology solutions while maintaining consistency across the platform, adopting best practices and pushing forward continuous improvements
- Software Design and Development - Develop high-quality code in C# (Python and Java are nice to have) adhering to clean coding principles. Build and manage reusable libraries and frameworks to improve development efficiency. Leverage SOLID principles and clean code practices to ensure maintainability and readability. Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments. Act as the solution lead and interface with the project teams by driving and moderating design review sessions to walk stakeholders through and ensure that the overall design aligns with business requirements as well as architectural directions. Support and mentor junior designers and developers through knowledge sharing, collaboration and effective problem solving.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Stay updated on emerging trends in software development and cloud architecture. Evaluate and adopt new technologies and patterns to improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Who You Are
- You can demonstrate experience in: 8+ years in software development using C#. Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker, as well as container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) or OpenShift. Develop and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM), adhering to RESTful principles and standards. Design and optimize relational databases using MS SQL and PostgreSQL It’s an asset if you have hands on experience with Python or Java are nice to have). Experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Event-Driven Architecture. Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions. Exposure to other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. Knowledge of NoSQL databases and caching technologies.
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
