Position Summary
As part of Confederation College’s Marketing and Communications team, the International Marketing Lead plays a key role in supporting the College’s global presence and recruitment efforts. This position is responsible for developing and implementing international marketing strategies, both traditional and digital, for targeted countries. Working collaboratively with the International Education Team ( IET ) and external partners, the incumbent ensures that Confederation College’s brand is consistently represented across all international channels. This role manages the College’s international web and social media presence, customizes content for regional audiences, and leads initiatives that support brand awareness, student recruitment, and engagement abroad. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to lead the planning and execution of international marketing campaigns.
Develop customized digital and traditional marketing strategies for selected international markets.
Manage Confederation College’s international website and global social media channels, including Facebook and region-specific platforms.
Coordinate efforts with the IET , international representatives, and external vendors to support recruitment and brand consistency.
Identify marketing needs in international markets and recommend improvements to increase awareness, engagement, and retention.
Support the creation and distribution of digital and print materials tailored to specific countries and cultures.
Monitor the College’s online reputation in international markets and respond to issues as needed.
Lead the Global Brand Ambassador program, supporting international students as peer advocates for the College.
Track and analyze digital performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform strategy.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management in an international or cross-cultural context.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across departments and with external partners.
An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
Knowledge of brand strategy and marketing best practices in postsecondary education is an asset.

Basic graphic design skills.
The incumbent must have excellent organizational skills, time management skills, process management skills, intra-cultural understanding,
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Experience developing marketing content for international markets
A solid team player with a commitment to providing quality customer service in a timely manner.
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to negotiate with tact and diplomacy.
Ability to facilitate a number of projects simultaneously across different countries and time zones
Ability to work independently and initiate creative solutions.
Knowledge of video storyboarding, production, editing
Knowledge of taking photos and using photo editing software
Ability to communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
- General knowledge of social media, trends, algorithms, and insights.
- Basic graphic design ability using Canva or other web-based platforms.
