What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Implement internal communications plans that align with company priorities, support change initiatives and enhance employee engagement.
  • Source content for a variety of internal channels, including newsletters, intranet, corporate initiatives and employee events.
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for internal events (e.g., town halls, special events).
  • Create and distribute the bi-weekly company-wide newsletter, ensuring timely and engaging content.
  • Manage the team member App - Sienna Connects - including page layouts, design, content, onboarding and general maintenance.
  • Lead content development and creative direction for internal campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand and tone.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to collect Purpose-driven stories about team members and residents, crafting and refining messaging that supports audience understanding and engagement.
  • Monitor and continuously improve internal communication platforms to ensure they are user-friendly, accessible and effective in reaching diverse employees.
  • Support leaders across the organization on communication best practices and tools.
  • Monitor communication against standards and provide reporting.
  • Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with creative and technical partners as needed.
  • Assist in organizing and hosting virtual events.
  • Provide communication on an as needed basis for issues.
  • Maintain internal content calendar and ensure key deliverables are met.
  • Craft clear, compassionate and timely messaging that keeps residents informed about relevant updates, programs and services.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
  • Five years’ experience in communications, preferably with a focus on internal communications and employee engagement.
  • Experience managing communication platforms (ex. SharePoint, Intranet systems, Canva, Teams, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Experience working with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
