Are you passionate about turning complex project management frameworks into clear, practical, and engaging learning experiences? Do you believe in the power of structured project management to improve consistency, collaboration, and organizational outcomes? We’re seeking a dedicated Project Management Instructor to deliver a focused, high impact training experience for professionals looking to enhance their project delivery capability.
As the instructor, you will guide participants through core project management concepts aligned with PMI standards while supporting the use of standardized tools, templates, and techniques for stronger, more consistent project execution.
What’s on Your Horizon
Delivery Mode: Virtual
Instructional Hours: 12 total (delivered as four 3 hour sessions)
Schedule: March 2026, exact dates TBD
Responsibilities
- Deliver a structured, PMI aligned project management program, covering the full lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
- Teach core concepts including project charters, stakeholder analysis, scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, communications, and performance monitoring.
- Support participants in using standardized templates such as project charters, schedules, budgets, risk registers, status reports, and lessons learned tools.
- Facilitate discussions, real examples, and practical activities that build confidence in planning and executing projects within public sector contexts.
- Guide learners through the pathway toward PMP certification and provide relevant study resources.
What You Bring to Seneca
- Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager within public administration or municipal frameworks; experience with conservation or environmental organizations is considered an asset.
- Experience facilitating corporate training or adult learning programs.
- Strong communication, presentation, and instructional facilitation skills.
- Expert level proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and standard instructional technology.
- PMP certification (required).
- Agile certification (preferred).
