Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, the Bilingual Content and Client Marketing Manager will develop customized content and communications that help Plan Members understand and use their benefits plans, particularly assisting members through enrolment and onboarding. You will work directly with Plan Sponsor (client) representatives to create communication plans and develop content/communications suitable for their organization and employees. This role requires strong writing skills, the ability to influence decision-making with Plan Sponsor representatives, and a proven track record of delivering measurable marketing impact. The Manager will work closely with Plan Sponsor representative, Distribution, Operations and Creative to shape marketing plans, oversee execution, and ensure alignment with key business objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Write, edit and coordinate production of customized marketing campaigns that help Plan Members understand and use their benefits plans. Campaigns include: emails, posters, postcards, letters, tent cards, and intranet content.
- Engage with French Plan Sponsor representatives directly, providing new ideas for them to consider about how to communicate benefits messaging effectively to their employees (Plan Members).
- Attend discovery meetings with clients to analyze their communications requirements.
- Work independently or with marketing peers as required to determine best tactics and approaches to meet client requirements.
- Develop detailed communications production schedules to ensure materials are delivered on time.
- Support senior members of the team by developing and implementing some aspects of complex projects, as assigned.
- Work with other teams in the organization to develop communications for cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- University or college degree in marketing, communications, media, or related field.
- 7+ years of communications experience. Experience in Group Benefits, healthcare, or related industries is highly valued
- Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to translate complex plan designs into easy-to-understand information for Plan Members and Plan Sponsor representatives.
- Strong project management skills—will at times have a case load of up to 30 or more clients. Will need to be able to prioritize and juggle many different projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience in writing and leading marketing campaigns across different channels (email and print) working alongside cross-functional teams and external vendors. Experience writing and managing digital communications is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams) and project management tools (e.g., Adobe Workfront, Smartsheet).
- Experience using AI tools to support content development, ideation, editing, and/or workflow automation. Familiarity with generative AI platforms is a strong asset.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to optimize campaigns and measure effectiveness

$88,800.00 CAD - $138,800.00 CAD
Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
