The Ideal Candidate
Has a passion for wine, beer and spirits and the service industry as a whole Has 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role Is knowledgeable in the area of wine, spirits or craft beer Possesses a positive attitude and has the ability to energize the team Is an effective communicator with the ability to share knowledge with our team and guests Is the ultimate team player Has the ability to create a ‘wow’ experience for our guests and is passionate about customer satisfaction Embodies the JAK's values of: Caring, Learning, Hospitality, & Integrity
Duties and Responsibilities
Effectively engaging with our guests on the sales floor by establishing rapport and providing suggestions and wine pairings when appropriate Coaching and training of Service Champions Receiving orders and unloading pallets; stocking the sales floor Executing all daily tasks and merchandising needs while ensuring guest experience is first priority Sharing concerns, observations and positive feedback with the manager on a weekly basis and communicating clearly and effectively Ensuring cleanliness, effective lighting and music level of the retail environment meets JAK’s standards and all orders are stocked and faced
