About the role
Spectra The Label is seeking a skilled web developer to create a premium ecommerce platform for a new luxury resort wear brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building high-end fashion websites, with a focus on clean, sophisticated layouts and seamless user experiences. The project requires a mobile-first approach, global reach, and integration of advanced ecommerce features to support an internationally positioned brand. The successful developer will play a key role in establishing the digital presence of a fully funded, globally minded fashion house.
Deliverables
- Develop a fully functional ecommerce website tailored for luxury fashion retail
- Provide platform recommendations; Shopify is preferred, but expert guidance is welcome
- Design a clean, luxury-inspired layout reflecting leading fashion brands
- Implement mobile-first responsive design for optimal performance across devices
- Set up global shipping capabilities and international payment gateway integration
- Build product upload structures with size and color variants, detailed descriptions, and high-quality imagery
- Integrate secure checkout and ensure robust data protection
- Establish basic SEO structure and optimize site speed for performance
- Integrate Instagram and email marketing tools for brand engagement
- Deliver a post-launch training session on product management and backend operations
Requirements
- Proven experience developing ecommerce websites for premium or luxury fashion brands
- Strong proficiency with Shopify and/or other leading ecommerce platforms
- Demonstrated ability to design clean, elegant, and user-friendly interfaces
- Expertise in mobile-first web development and responsive design
- Knowledge of international payment gateways and global shipping integrations
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and site speed optimization
- Experience integrating social media and email marketing tools
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and ability to meet structured timelines
- Portfolio of similar high-end fashion ecommerce projects required
