Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Strategy Manager to lead the Organizational Dynamics team and support the growth of Transformation services in Central Canada. You will directly with the Transformation Services Leader and Advisory Business Line Leader to drive new business and ensure the success of current projects.
The successful candidate for this role is passionate about the people and organizations delivering major infrastructure projects, knows how to drive and develop high-performing teams and can implement the change to get them there. You also have the ability to skillfully take others on the journey with you and bring others into the process with ease.
We’re looking for a seller that seeks to understand client problems and a doer that can jump in to lead complex projects. Success in this role requires strong communication, comfort tackling diverse projects across differing industries, sincere motivation, eagerness to collaborate, and outstanding leadership, systems-thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

- Collaborate with leaders across AECOM to lead and support major pursuits
- Join existing major projects and quickly establish relationships with client leadership to as a trusted advisor

- Be passionate about trying new things rather than focusing on best practices
- Explore how approaches commonly adopted by corporate strategy and design might inform value creation in the built environment
- Inspire specialists, architects and engineers to think and act differently
About You
A T-shaped individual that broadly understands the many factors that contribute to the problem and the elements impacted by your solutions with a deep skillset in more than one of the following:
- Organizational design and development
- Organizational psychology and behavior
- Change management
- Workforce planning
You ask thought provoking questions rather than default to status quo, are comfortable wading into ambiguous problems and take ownership, are a critical systematic thinker and listen to understand, not to respond. Facilitation and public speaking are second nature to you and you’re able to push others and their thinking in conversation.
In addition to these specific skills, you possess a general skillset in the following:
- Management consulting and / or corporate strategy
- Data analytics and visualization
- Digital transformation
- User research and synthesis of qualitative data
You specifically possess these abilities and have experience with and and , and has specialized experience in one or more of the following areas and possesses a broader comfort and ability to work within many of these areas:

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, psychology or similar field and 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Requirements
- 10 years of experience
- Experience in the infrastructure industry and specifically on major programs
- Experienced in entrepreneurship, team / practice building within large consulting firms / organizations
