What you will do
Kenvue is recruiting for a Trade Deductions Analyst located in Markham, Ontario.
We are seeking a results and performance driven individual that has high energy, is adaptable, customer focused and able to work independently, as well as a part of a cross-functional team. This is the role for you if you have strong interpersonal, technical & analytical, problem solving, oral and written communication skills, if you can work in a dynamic and team orientated environment, and if you have experience in deductions management, finance, accounting, accounts receivable or similar functions.
Role Summary:
In this role, you will ensure that all trade deductions claimed by our customers are in accordance with Kenvue terms and conditions and trade promotion agreements. You will also ensure that all deductions are assigned and cleared in a timely manner. In addition, you will look for continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of clearing deductions process.
You will also help support select trade spend process controls. You will work with both external and internal audit as well as internal stakeholders to ensure that business processes are in line with compliance requirements. In addition, you will assess the current processes to make recommendations that will enhance overall control compliance.
We are looking for a performance-driven individual with a real passion for delivering results. Teamwork and collaboration are a vital part of the role. On-the-job training as well as formal training is available to help you further develop your skill set and to succeed in the role.

Key responsibilities:
- Validate customer deduction claims for legitimacy
- Coordinate the accurate and timely approval of customer deductions with key stakeholders. Stakeholder include Customer Account Managers as well as the Invoice to Cash team and the IT team
- Perform the clearing of deductions to customer accounts
- Identify and initiate the satisfactory resolution of unauthorised customer deductions
- Collaborate with IT partners to identify and resolve any technical issues and look to continuously improve the process and reporting capabilities for clearing deductions in TPM
- Ensure the accurate interfacing between Trade Promotion Management and SAP
- Collaborate with the IT team to diagnose and to resolve interface errors
- Deliver on trade deduction Key Performance Indicators
- Compile accurate, timely and insightful Trade Deduction management reports
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of a University Bachelor’s degree in Business
- A minimum of 2+ years of business experience.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required. Enjoy working with technology and staying on top of trends
Desired:
- Experience in finance, trade deductions, accounting, accounts receivable or similar functions preferred.
- Demonstrates strong technical aptitude, ability, and desire to learn new technologies
- Advanced knowledge of SAP and experience with reporting tools (e.g. OneS4, Tableau)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and to work within tight deadlines
