Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash, credit, and digital transactions while accurately handling cash and processing payments
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to meet sales goals while providing detailed product information
- Manage merchandising displays to attract customer attention and optimize product placement
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on technical products, including explaining features and benefits during sales or demos
- Maintain organized checkout areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levels of sales materials
- Offer exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or store policies
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Multilingual skills or bilingual proficiency (e.g., English and Spanish) are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base
- Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills for cash handling, and merchandising techniques are beneficial
- Strong communication skills, time management, organizational skills, and professional phone etiquette are essential for success in this role
- Experience with technology sales or product demonstrations can enhance the ability to engage customers effectively
