The University of Toronto is seeking a Sessional Lecturer to teach the course PPG1005H S - Social Context of Policy Making. The course will cover the following topics:
- The role of social context in policy making
- The impact of social factors on policy outcomes
- Case studies of policy decisions influenced by social context
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and facilitate discussions
- Develop course materials and assessments
- Provide feedback and support to students
- Grade assignments and exams
Required Qualifications
- A PhD in Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field
- Experience teaching at the university level
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms
- Research experience in social policy
