Empower Me delivers multilingual education, support, and coaching services to ensure underrepresented communities have access to energy, climate, and home retrofit programs.

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO and a member of the Executive Team, the Director of Growth Operations will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, ensuring alignment with Kambo Energy Group’s strategic goals and objectives. This role combines team leadership, business development, and client experience to continue to drive growth for Kambo. The successful candidate will have a track record that includes process development, system automation, and people mentorship.
About You
You are a builder at heart, someone who loves creating the systems, structure, and clarity that make a growth engine run. You think in workflows, cadences, dashboards, and pipelines, and you take pride in building processes that people actually use because they make their work easier. You are disciplined with follow-up, allergic to chaos, and you set the standard for account and relationship management by modeling what “great” looks like.
You understand and have experience in building partnerships and projects with governments or utilities, you have an innate ability when it comes to strategic positioning and communications. You have led the development and delivery of proposals and RFPs, and have experience either professionally or personally in values based services whether that’s climate, community, or justice.
You lead with empathy and curiosity, taking the time to understand how things works. You build trust quickly across teams and with clients because people enjoy working with you and feel understood. You bring a calm, structured, relationship-first approach that strengthens both internal alignment and external partnerships.
You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves. Whether it is pulling data for a dashboard, fixing a messy CRM workflow, tightening up a proposal or presentation, or coaching someone through how to handle a challenge, you do the work, not just point at it. You love structure, systems, and accountability, and you help others love them too.
You are a people manager who lifts performance. You know how to coach, mentor, and hold your team to a high standard without losing kindness or empathy. You thrive in fast-moving environments, manage competing priorities gracefully, and keep your eye on both the top and bottom line.
Above all, you bring executive-level presence without ego, someone who can zoom out to provide clarity to leadership while zooming in to ensure the process details are tight. You elevate your team, improve visibility for decision-makers, and create the conditions for sustainable and scalable growth.
